The house
Haifa Vinyl Loft opened in 2018 as a seated room for recorded music, then grew a corner stage for live trio nights. We play full sides. We ask for silence while the groove runs. Between albums there is wine, whisky, and a short conversation. Then the next pressing goes on.
Booths along the glass, a short bar, and numbered chairs. The lighting stays tungsten. There is no standing crush and no dance floor. You come to sit, to hear the pressings, and to leave the street on HaNassi outside.
A quiet deck for jazz and voice, a heavier idler for older Mediterranean and Israeli pressings. The night is sequenced in advance. Requests are welcome in writing at the door, never shouted across a side.
Friday and Saturday the cabinets close around 22:00 and a piano, bass, and brushes take the far wall. The same forty-eight seats stay put. It is a small room on purpose: no festival rig, no LED wall, no midnight spectacle.
How a night works
We keep the ritual short and strict so the music can be long. Arrive a quarter hour before the first side. Phones face down. Talking waits for the run-out groove.
Forty-eight covers only. Write to the door or use the inquiry form with a date and party size. Walk-ins are possible early in the week; weekends fill. Reservations are recommended every night.
No talking during sides. The staff move softly. A printed card on the table lists the evening’s pressings. Between albums, the bar pours and the room may speak — then the next side begins.
On Friday and Saturday the live set follows the last LP. Same chairs, same volume ethic. On Sunday the house often ends with a sleeve talk and a full album played without interruption.
The door
Tuesday to Thursday we open at 18:00. Friday and Saturday run until 01:00. Sunday begins at 17:00. Monday the cabinets stay closed. 41 HaNassi Avenue, Carmel Center.
